About Keepsake Games

Keepsake is a company that makes games, but more than that we are a group of people who want to have fun while making games together. We want to craft great experiences for the players, but we also enjoy just hanging out. Keepsake will always have a friendly, inclusive, and relaxed culture. We want the company to grow slowly, and be a studio with different perspectives that are essential to building rich and memorable games.

The goal with our games is to be the medium in which you and your friends shape new memories together. We want our games to be the talking point among friends, something worth sharing; we want our games to be a keepsake of good times.

Keepsake was founded in 2021 and we’re located on Södermalm in Stockholm, Sweden.

About the Team

The team consists of five game industry veterans with over 10 years of experience each. In those years, we’ve had the opportunity to manage teams, found studios, and had various leading roles within both small and large productions. After crossing paths time and time again to work on projects together, we thought the time was right to found our own studio! And we are…

  • Filip Coulianos - Game director. Founding member of Hazelight and lead the design team on their titles

  • Claes Engdal - Art director. Founding member of Hazelight and lead the art team on their titles

  • Tobias Möllstam - Programmer. Founding member of Mojang and tech director at Toca Boca

  • Henrik Alfredsson - Designer. Designer on Mirror’s Edge and product owner at Toca Boca

  • Daniel Kaplan - CEO. Founding member of Mojang and co-founder of Coffee Stain Publishing

Since starting the company in 2021, we’ve grown a bit. We recently became 14 people strong!

Our Game

Jump Ship is a first-person co-op multiplayer game where the players take the roles as crew of a spaceship. You and your friends will be flying the ship, firefighting, directing energy flows, optimizing engines, manning turrets, and exploring derelict shipwrecks on foot while encountering a plethora of enemy AI’s and exciting environmental challenges.

While the game is still in early development, please take a look at the video to get a sense of what we’re working on! You can also hang out with us by joining our discord.
